What Is Happening Today?

I am sure many of you have paid attention to the big downfall of Bitcoin today. And of course, together with bitcoin Steem and other alts went down.
Any idea what triggered such a big market fall? What are your predictions, will it recover today already or should we expect it to continue going deeper and deeper down?

In a bear market it is impossible to predict the bottom. It all depends when we run out of sellers, that will be the turning point. I don’t believe in a drop to 5k! But we will only know it when the bears are back in the woods or fishing for Salmon!
I think the market is just really volatile. I don't think it is "the downfall of bitcoin". If I had to guess it will probably recover over $10,000 next week and nobody will even talk about this in a year.
