Why do I like hiking?

I have been hiking since I was a child and when I talk about it a lot of people who are new to this activity see it as something very hard and of little interest.

I love hiking because:

• I am not a big fan of sports, especially violent sports. Hiking is a gentle activity that is accessible to all, which works the cardio (at altitude, you run out of steam faster) and which involves almost all parts of the body.

• Nothing beats a good fatigue after hiking; deep sleep and zenitude guaranteed upon awakening (aches too)!

• It's good for health but also for morale: I wash my brain (we leave worries at home), I share good times with my friends, and we fill up with fresh air while admiring the countryside.

• Hiking picnics are moments of sharing and conviviality; each brings their own snack and draws from the other's. And depending on the regulations and the season, you can even taste the delicacies of nature (forest fruits, mushrooms).
