ART DIARY (9)

Red is a very emotional color, and it is capable of miracles. It is truly charged, it gives energy, and at the same time it takes energy away. At one point, I chose red to present my art specifically in this color. I am a very emotional person, and for me… I want to use as much color as possible, to squeeze the maximum out of everything that is possible. But recently, I started to notice that it has become harder and harder for me to work with this color. And I started to want something different.

Then, as an experiment, I painted one artwork in green. It was very untypical, but in fact it came to me during a crisis in my painting, when all my artistic attempts in red felt unsuccessful to me. I am very glad, because if someone had told me earlier that I would completely change my colors, I would have thought I had gone completely crazy.
