Making shawarma at home for very first time

Hello everyone. Hope everyone is doing great. Today I am here to share with you guys my recipe for the restaurant style shawarma

Last weekend, I went to my hometown, and while shopping for my siblings, I came across some shawarma bread that looked fresh and was quite cheap. So, I decided to buy a few and planned to make shawarma.
In the village, we don’t have bakeries to buy fresh bread, so we usually have to make it ourselves. That’s why I thought using this shawarma bread would be more convenient.
Let me show you the recipe in steps now

Step 1

I started by marinating the boneless chicken with some yogurt, red chili powder, a bit of soy sauce, and a pinch of salt. I wanted to keep it simple and give it a homemade touch.

## *Step 1* *Then I made the sauce using plenty of mayonnaise some garlic salt bit of ketchup and blended it all together.* ## *Step 3* *Then I heated a frying pan and fried all the chicken pieces on low heat so it can be tender and juicy* ## *Step 4* *Then I shredded all the chicken pieces so I can easily place them in my shawarma* ## *Step 5* *Then I toasted the bread from both sides in a little bit of oil and then starting the layering process which is very simple and convenient.* *Please excuse the rough pages I used for wrapping the shawarmas cause while e I was making the shawarma, the power went out, so I had to finish everything using a flashlight.I wanted to wait for the light to come back,but my family was so hungry.They all were waiting desperately for the shawarma so I clicked pictures in flashlight so they are not as perfect as I usually make.* *I served them with the same sauce I made earlier.They were so yummy.Everyone enjoyed them alot.When you live in village,you have to make things on your own with avaliable material so this recipe was so easy and the taste was so good specially the sauce.
