Read this when you’re down
A love letter to nobody, anybody, everybody
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
Even if/when I may not be in love with you in the past, present or future.
I will always love you.
You will always occupy a special place in my heart, mind, soul, body and spirit.
Please don’t ever hurt yourself.
Live for yourself.
Live for God.
Live for your mother.
Live for your father.
Live for your siblings.
Live for your pets.
Live for that cute boy or girl at the coffee shop.
Live to disprove the haters, doubters, critics, and former friends, acquaintances and lovers who possess jealousy, envy and negativity. It’s not you. It’s not them, either.
Live to prove to your own self your own doubts, suspicions and fleeting feelings of despair, hopelessness and sorrow are only temporary temptations brought on by demonic forces, in moments you forget your own light and magical being.
Call those bad feelings “Resistance”, “Satan”, “Trump”, whatever you want. Call your ego, the abuse, trauma and life events you’ve dealt with and survived up until this moment whatever you want. Call it “crap cancer”.
Don’t call it self-help.
Think of it as personal improvement.
Be productive.
Be smart with your time, money and energy.
Don’t believe 99% of what you read, see, hear, experience and sense, especially online. 100% of this 99% is snake oil and a scam. Recently they call it “fake news”, “post-truth”, and/or “alternative facts”. Before this, it was called “bullshit”.
Trust your gut.
Write to me.
Sleep more.
Eat well.
Walk.
Write.
Sing.
Shout.
Paint.
Be creative.
Make new friends.
Join a yoga class.
Go back to school.
Go back to bed.
Build a pillow fortress.
Use your indoor voice outdoors.
Use your outdoor voice indoors.
Balance your budget.
Act a decade younger than you are.
Be child-like, not childish.
Revisit your innate goodness, innocence and sense of curiosity and wonder.
Spoil yourself.
Pretend, and then truly internalize, yourself as your own baby.
Adore, cherish and sustain this baby the way you would any newborn infant.
Be gentle with yourself, your parents, your loved ones and everybody you meet.
They fight a battle you know nothing about.
The days are long, but the years are short.
Remember this please.
Let me know if this helped you.
I don’t want to help one person.
I already did that.
I helped myself.
Now I want to help every person.
You are loved. You are loved. You are loved.
Thanks for reading this, darling.
