Chaos is upon us

With less than one hour left on the countdown until everybody is able to open their Chaos Legion packs, the wait is almost over.

For the first time in several months, players are finally able to open packs without purchasing them from the 3rd party market, and I have to say, I am quite excited.

I feel with the new summoners and monsters to go along with them, that this pack is going to be very good. I am particularly excited for the new summoners for the Life, Death and Earth splinters.

General Sloan looks to be a very good summoner for the Life splinter. There are several cards with decent stats that have ranged attack that are from Life or Neutral.

War Chaang is one card that comes to mind. With both ranged and melee attack, I think this card will find a spot in the new meta.

I'm pretty excited to play around with Thaddius Brood. I think this will be a good counter for most magic based teams, but the -1 enemy health will definitely be interesting to use in battle against any type of splinter. Combine this with a few cards that nerf the stats of enemy monsters, and this card is bound to bring some wins.

From this summoner, I think magic spam will be moving from Water toward the Earth splinter.
We already have Unicorn Mustang which has the Void ability, taking less damage from all magic attacks, it will definitely be a staple in Earth builds effectively nullifying Obsidian's ability. With decent stats around the board, I see this card being used more than it already was before the release of Chaos Legion.
