Digital world companies are increasingly interested in virtual currencies as many are waging a war over concerns about possible criminal use and lack of controls, and a number of companies are preparing to launch their own virtual currencies.

Kodak has announced plans to launch a virtual currency on the sidelines of the CES 2018 conference in Las Vegas. Telegram, the developer of chat and instant messaging, has announced its intention to launch a new platform for its new e-currency exchange among its users.

Telegram, citing specialized media, will launch the Telegram Open Network (TON) platform for its users to use its new "Gram / Gram" electronic currency.

Telegraph users will be able to conduct their in-app financial transactions on the TON platform in the Gram currency with one million transactions per second, and Telegram will launch its new currency in the last third of this year.
