TEAS WITH COLOURS

History: Tea has a rich history that dates back thousands of years, originating in China. It was initially consumed for its medicinal properties before evolving into a social and cultural beverage.
Types of Tea: As mentioned earlier, tea can be categorized into different types based on how the leaves are processed:
• Black Tea: Fully oxidized tea leaves, resulting in a robust flavor and dark color.
• Green Tea: Unoxidized or minimally oxidized leaves, retaining a fresh and grassy taste.
• White Tea: Made from young leaves and buds, minimally processed, with a delicate flavor profile.
• Oolong Tea: Partially oxidized leaves, offering a balance between black and green tea flavors.
• Herbal Tea: Not technically tea, as it’s made from herbs, fruits, or flowers instead of Camellia sinensis leaves. Examples include chamomile, peppermint, and hibiscus teas.
