God has created us in holiness and He never wants evil to happen to us.

Although God allows people to make their own choice, including those ones that are sinful, but God is never the author of evil.

The human suffering and wickedness we are allowed to do in the world is because of sin. And man's rebellion against God is not because God is the author of evil. Yet, God can bring good out of even in that situation for those who even trust in God.

As the Bible always says, let no one say when he is tempted, I am tempted by God.
For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he serve.

What is this verse telling us?
Jesus is telling us that this verse 1 says that God is not happy seeing people do evil. He's never in that position.

The reason that people do evil, he's not happy with it. Instead, he has called everyone to repentance, to obey his will and choose what is good. He has promised that he's going to judge us according to our deeds about good and evil.
