IFC Championship.

This is it... It was quite a journey and took quite a bit longer than expected, but... We're finally here. :)
Our two competitors facing off in the championship for season 2 of the IFC are @bengy and @owietus.

bengy has been around the IFC since the first season back on steemit and owietus started during season 2 and was the one player we have from Facebook.
It was one of my goals to try to increase the reach of the IFC and even though we had less players this season it is interesting to note that our one player from the other social media platform made it all the way to the end!

So... I'm definitely curious to see how this will turn out and I wish both competitors the best of luck!
Oh, also... Pretty sure I did this last season as well, but... You both each have two weeks this time to get your entry in instead of the usual one week.

Also, I'd like to say in advance to whoever ends up winning that it might take a while for me to send the crystal trophy in the mail.
It took me a while to get it out to the previous champion as well cause I was so busy and I'm even more busy this time, though... I will make an extra effort and who knows, maybe I'll get it out much quicker this time! :)

Oh, also... I can pay the winner in either steem or hive tokens if they have a preference and want one instead of the other as well.
Anyways... Let's get on to it shall we?

The subjects of our championship round are... Family, crystals, spirituality, science and... New beginnings.

These subjects I think are some pretty powerful ones and I think tie in well with some of the themes of the IFC.
I would like to learn more about these subjects and I welcome you to present such however you please.

It's up to you how you incorporate these subjects... You could do just one or two or you could do all of them.
You could also do separate entries for each different subject if you wanted to or you could try to combine them all into one entry.

It's really up to you how you want to go about it, if you want to spend more time or less... If you wanna be really in depth or go another route, and then the judges will decide as usual which ones they like the most.
Just try to have at least one of the subjects in your entry and if you have any questions please feel free to ask. :)

Also it looks like @ecoinstar will donate 100 shares of steembasicincome to the winners, with 60 SBI going to the grand prizer winner, 25 SBI to second place and 15 SBI to third place.

A special thanks as well to @davemccoy and @newbiegames and @newbieresteemday who are not technically sponsors but we have worked with them in the past. Looks like newbiegames and newbieresteemday have been inactive for months though we still use their tags for the time being.

The challenge will finish after 14 days from when the post ends and provides its payout cycle or when all entries have been submitted.

25% of the post payout goes to curation and after that what's left will now be split up 75% to the winner of the round and 25% to put towards building up the @ifc account.

For those who play via email.. This will be recorded and saved for you, and.. If you're unwilling to make your own steem account we will at some point be willing to convert it for you to whichever currency however.. Not for small amounts, you must earn at least 10 steem for us to take the time to do this for you.

I have to say this weeks challenge of Family, Crystals, Spirituality, Science and New Beginnings has really piqued my interest and i gave these subjects great thought and enjoyed this challenge.

Family is a wonderful gift. Gives us our genetics, intelligence, body structure & features. Close families give love and support to each other. Family has the greatest impression on how we think, act and many times occupation choices. It is hard to step away from family upbringing; especially in religion, social situations, manners, speech, & habits. Although we are all capable of growing and reinventing ourselves. Negative family situations may cause life long emotional damage, stifle creativity, low self esteem, negative outlook on life. Positive family upbringing seems to nurture self-esteem, creativity, positive belief in the future, better ability to get along with others, more stable careers and family relationships of their own.

Crystals & Science
Everything including, humans, seemingly solid objects and crystals are vibrating energy. Crystals are made up of a fixed, regularly repeating, perfect geometric pattern of molecules. Whereas humans vibration is constantly changing. Human vibration easily changes for example: other persons, health, mood, music, feelings, food, color, metals & even crystal. Every crystal has a different energetic frequency. The colors of crystals are specific light frequencies. Red, for example, has a much lower frequency than purple . The same goes for our own bodies. If you look at a chakra diagram, the lowest chakra (the root chakra) is shown in red, which aligns with the low vibrational frequency of that chakra. Your crown chakra, on the other hand, is shown in purple, as it is the highest vibration chakra, and the highest vibration color. I have used specific crystals that have the associated chakra color and felt an immediate shift in my energies doing a chakra layout with specific colored crystals. Glass is crystalized sand and is constantly moving. Look at your 100 year old buildings to see the movement of the glass thicker at the bottom of the window. Mechanically speaking watches have harder crystals of ruby, sapphire or garnet jewels to reduce the wear and tear of moving parts to give a longer life to the watch , better accuracy & longer periods between servicing. Sapphire crystals are used for non scratch watch protective faces. Garnet crystals are the most commonly used in solid-state lasers. Genuine as well synthetic crystals are tested with the use of refractometers. Gemological refractometer is the most important of all gem testing instruments. The primary use of the refractometer is to measure the angle at which light traveling through the stone is bent or refracted. This is called Refractive Index . Refractive Index is different for different gemstones, this provides an important clue for accurate gemstone identification.

Spirituality:
Spirituality is recognition & trust of a higher Being, knowing you are directly connected to Source God energy without needing to follow any specific religion. , higher cosmic divine energy . Belief in divine energy for peace , well being, purpose , the healing of the people, planet, universes. Having a path of spirituality can be life changing , dropping ego, humbleness, trusting all happens with divine energy, helping others, joy in your heart, joy to be alive, joy to be in nature with all Earths creations. Love as a universal energy, Knowing that everything and everyone are connected. Not needing anyone to tell you what to believe but trusting your own inner guidance. On the evening of pink eclipse I sent blessings to the ocean and as you see in the photo a few spirit orbs came out to play. so spirituality is also honoring nature and all it’s beings in the universe and being open to what presents itself to you.

New Beginnings:
New beginnings come into our lives more than once .Going to school and out into the world with college education or other studies, new jobs, new partners, marriage for many or cohabiting with another , babies, mid life crisis , moving , changing religious views, meditation, occupation changes are all new beginnings. Most of us are scared & even excited for new beginnings. Moving is 2nd to Loss of a parent or loved one on stress level. We constantly are doing new beginnings but most people may only connect a true new beginning as completely leaving ones life and starting an entirely new way of living. New thought processes, new occupation or none, new location and perhaps even moving to another country,

I agree family is a wonderful gift! And close families can have greater love and support as well that's a good point.
When you said family gives us our intelligence, I disagreed a bit... But, then I saw later that you mention this down further a lil ways "Although we are all capable of growing and reinventing ourselves. ", so I see that you did make that distinction that we can grow ourselves. I find myself for the most part in agreement about the rest of what you said about family and how it can be difficult to break away and also how important parenting can be in regard to positive or negative outlooks on life! Some really important things to think about there.

I found it interesting in regard to what you said about crystals and humans as well and I don't know much about chakra stuff so I can't say much there or in regard to some of the other stuff you mentioned about watches and lasers and such as I just don't know much about that either, but I learned a few things and I always really appreciate and value that!

In response to the part on spirituality...
I'm not totally sure if I agree with the part about spirituality exclusively being linked to a higher being or "Source God" energy. I think I can get sorta get what you're saying and on one hand I partly agree with you, but on another I do think people can be spiritual without believing in a Source God or higher being.
I think spirituality is a very subjective word and that if you ask a bunch of different people you'll probably get a bunch of different answers! Though, once again I do vibe and resonate with what you're saying and I think I get it.

Spirituality can definitely be life changing! I concur... Wow has my life changed a lot since I started becoming more spiritual, it's been pretty phenomenal.
I love the part you mentioned about helping others and having joy in your heart! Also, the part about intuition as well.

The part about the orbs is very thought provoking... I'm very skeptical of orb shots especially from digital cameras, but I try to stay open minded and if those are real entities or spirits or something then those pictures are pretty amazing especially on an eclipse? That would be pretty epic if so.
Seems unlikely to be dust floating in the air and reflecting off the sensors if you're on the beach... However, there might be some other kind of glitch going on with the camera or something else so I'm not totally sure what to say there. Thanks for sharing that though! I love weird and unusual things like that. 😃

Oh, I also really liked what you said at the end there... This part. "spirituality is also honoring nature and all it’s beings in the universe and being open to what presents itself to you."
I've been doing that a lot more lately and it's been pretty fascinating and rewarding in many ways! 🙂

You make some excellent assertions about new beginnings! There's definitely a lot of different ways you can look at it and I do think most people typically tend to think about it in more major events like moving to a new place or a new job and things like that like you mentioned, I think I'm guilty of that often myself! However, I think if we can try to remind ourselves of that there new beginnings are all over the place if we have the right eyes to see them then perhaps we can learn more about that and become better at "changing" so to speak, I dunno... Just an idea!
