When The World Turns

images(4).jpg

Eyes wet and weary,
When the ones held dearly
Take their last breath,
And are laid six feet in depth.
In the heat of such cold,
You need a hand to hold.

When he bangs the door,
And makes your heart sore.
Your pillow turns a pool;
All along you've been a fool.
In the face of love lost,
You need a shoulder to trust.

When storms and wind blow;
Without a clue of where to go;
Pocket empty like the air;
Bills and credits everywhere.
In the state of being broke,
You need a lip to tell a joke.

When the world falls,
And the breath of death calls.
On the bed of sickness
Your body lying helpless.
In the pangs of infirmity,
You need the face of family.

When doom does arrive,
And crises crowns your life;
Have these words of mine,
To them let your ears incline.
They're arms for your embrace,
And your final saving grace.
