I wanted to have a muse
Or Is the right term “desired”?
I badly needed one in my life
She was the object of my prayers
Maybe you could say that I was smart
But my name and inspired aren’t what you’ll use in a sentence
Finally, my prayers were answered
Or at least, so I thought
Her presence in my life brought me unprecedented inspiration
My head was bombarded with ideas
I was the talk of the town
I felt extremely powerful
I was the alpha of my art
Or at least so I felt
Until my muse’s mad ex began to find me
And blew my head off during a walk in the park
