El Fortín de la Magdalena
Construido en 1794 por el ingeniero militar Casimiro Isava Olivier, se convirtió en un lugar muy codiciado por su ubicación estratégica.

Lleva el nombre de una mujer indígena que por sus buenas relaciones con los españoles fue presentada ante el rey de España y se le rebautizó con el mote de Doña Magdalena. Fue reconstruido recientemente y en la actualidad es una de las obras de mayor interés turístico de El Morro, Estado Anzoategui, Venezuela.

built in 1794 by military engineer Casimiro Isava Olivier, became a very coveted place due to its strategic location.

It bears the name of an indigenous woman who, due to her good relations with the Spaniards, was presented to the King of Spain and was renamed with the nickname of Doña Magdalena. It was recently rebuilt and is currently one of the most interesting tourist works in El Morro, Anzoategui State, Venezuela.
