Learning steemit

I started using steemit 2 year ago. I know it a a great blockchain platform. I would be very thankful if someone could be a mentor to me and teach me a few things about this thing so I can get some more up-votes and comments in my post. I do have a brother who is good at this though but he won't teach me nothing, I guess he is just too selfish. So, I look forward and ask for help to the other users of steemit, please also explain what is SBD 50% / SP 50% & power up 100%. I don't know any of these I just returned after 2 years.
