Beyonce/JayZ Publicity Stunt ?

I was talking with my husband's best friend and he suggested that the infidelity situation in Beyonce and JayZ's marriage never occurred and that they were just stirring things up because they wanted to become more relevant and sell more records. As if their lives were getting too boring for the public so they had to pull a publicity stunt. I don't think this is the case. I think JayZ really did cheat and the lyrics in their albums were accurate. I think even though Beyonce didn't write Lemonade the emotional power behind her performance was too raw to fake. I feel like JayZ really is remorseful. I saw an interview with him recently and he seems really genuine. This is my take on things. What do you think?
