How to Fix Git and GitHub Mistakes and Bad Commits
Even though there are basically about 10 basic Git commands (init, clone, add, commit, push, pull, and so on) that you will use frequently, it's easy to make bad commits, such as commits on the wrong branch or forgetting to pull all the current changes, that can easily lead to trouble. Or, you may want to refactor your GitHub repository to make the workflow clearer or to conform with project standards.
