SteemPower 0.970 and delegated (14.059) I comprehend this is so I can be active and when I have earned whatevers this amount will decrease and it will be great when I no longer have need of delegation? Is that right?

The other day I had 1.320 and transferred .320 to someone, thinking this would be a good thing, but when I look at my history it seems the 0.320 went to null
null (23) 1343 following, no posts,not following, member since 1969 and an empty wallet.
Did I throw my 0.320 down a black hole or something?
How best do I use the little I have?
