MY INTRODUCTION ON HIVE

Hello everyone, I'm happy to be part of this big Family.

My, Oh My! I was intrigued. I was innocently and passionately interested.
When @Immaculate50 introduced this platform to me.

How come I have never heard of it? It is not widely known, I guessed.
How many people are on the platform?
A thousand?!
A million?!
He said, maybe A million.

By the way, my name is Israel.
I hail from Oyo state, Nigeria. A west African country.
I'm a microbiology student in one of the prestigious University. Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) Ondo state, Nigeria.

I specialize in Parasitology, medical microbiology, biology and chemistry.

I am a mobile photographer, movie lover, music addict, a writer (both fiction and non-fiction)
Currently, we are on strike, 6-months and still counting.
It's disheartening, gaining Admission was hell of a job for me.

Also to graduate with a first class in my Country is a tough job. (Not going into full details)

Prior to gaining Admission I had a paradigm shift.
I found myself constantly in this thought...
"Why have we been programmed that getting a college (University) degree is a must to getting successful in life (I'm not saying getting a university degree is bad, it surely has its advantages).
It has become a stereotype.

  Our parents that were raised in the "Industrial age" has forgotten this is "Information and Computer age" because they will definitely disown me (Lols) if I submit to them that I don't want to go to College (University).

I started thinking outside the box and I began to make important and life changing decisions (More to come later).
During this period, I came across Hive Blog, thanks to @Immaculate50 who introduced me to this big Family.

I got interested in a platform where I can network with like-minded individuals.

I see it as a platform to develop and share my thoughts, life's work,ideas, problems I want to solve and give out value and hook up with great minds, at the same time get financial returns (smiles).

I am a beginner and does not know everything about Hive Blog, so I'm open to learning and advice.
I hope I get a warm reception.

The beginning can be daunting but fear not all went through the same difficulties.

I have to warn you though, it’s highly addictive , but we will understand we are also addicted, not on the least because you decided to join! So again Welcome to the Hive.

For all interests there is a community place where you can meet , read and leave your written piece. Gotta be fair it’s not a GET RICH QUICK thing here! the beginning it’s hard and new and maybe you need help. We have amazing people here on the platform that help in discord if you need it. I love blogging, been here for three years already. But one important warning always be carefull with all your passwords, Never give those up !! I speak from experience !
