Bitcoin vs ethereum

Which of the two will be a better long term investment. This is all of a matter of opinion but if you guys see anything differently please feel free to comment below and give me some incite as to why you may think differently.

Bitcoin is the first generation of blockchain cryptocurrency to be established. It is similar to the early 90s when the internet was first getting explored. Soon after people experimented a lot with the internet and made it a lot easy and better to use. That’s were I see bitcoin, bitcoin is the experiment that has gone extraordinarily well so far but due to the permissionless capability many new innovations can stem from bitcoin itself. The open source has allowed many new cryptos to arrive on the scene and even better cryptos then bitcoin.

That’s were the 2nd generation of cryptos come in and I see ethereum the daddy of them all. Ethereum has a proof of stake built into the the protocol. So instead of mining ethereum the tokens come into existence when more use cases apply to ethereum. What is unique about ethereum is it will eliminate more jobs than bitcoin will. The utility for ethereum is it many times higher than bitcoin which means it can stay relevant for longer time frame.

Overrall in the next 5 years I can actually see ethereum surpassing bitcoin in market size. I don’t know if the price will be higher but if ethereum were to pass bitcoin in market cap, the return would easily be 10x.
