Is gpu mining still profitable?

Hi! I'm new in this of the cryptocoins and all of that, well, New in mining coins, I've been following the bitcoin and some coins for the past few years but it's now that I've decided to start mining, and I wanted to know your opinion. And if it is still profitable, which card do you recommend and why?
