Half Year Gone With Small Wins And Gratitude.

This week's prompt calls for reflection.

At the beginning of this year I wrote down my goals for the year in a post and pinned it on my blog. To serve as a constant reminder for me not to be distracted or derailed, even though it seems I can't avoid it as life keeps bringing unexpected busy schedules that tend to divide my attention.

On the last day of the first half while reflecting on the journey so far, I noticed that out of the five goals I set I have only hit one. Others are still on the go, some are halfway, while some are not. For instance, one of my goals was to achieve 3000 HP, at this July power up I hit 1k +. For me that's a milestone even though I haven't reached my target for the year.

Also,I've reached 50% of my goals on ALIVEandALIVE andBBHO, which I'm hopeful I will achieve by year end. Looking at my scoreboard, it shows I'm moving forward, at least I'm not where I was at the beginning of the year, which is enough reason for me to be grateful for the small wins.

Then, coming to my non-Hive goals, I set three goals, two out of them will be achieved by next month as I'm seriously on high gear towards it. The remaining one would run through the year. I don't want to feel pressured to avoid break down. Just doing my part one day at a time which I think is the most important thing to do.

Celebrating small wins encourages me to keep moving. Though, as human, sometimes I'd feel pressured and want to blame myself for not meeting up with a target but when I come to terms with the fact that it's only the living and a healthy body that can talk about goals, I just relax and meet the situation with gratitude.

The idea is to keep showing up everyday, even in stormy weather, so as not to lose focus.
