Strings
there was beauty in the instrument
It sang to me a lilting tune
And produced a pleasing melody
As i plucked its taut string
With my callused fingers
Faster i played,
Melody issued forth
Faster faster,
The melody flowed forth
Tauter tauter,
The strings went
Then it happened
The strings snapped
The instrument was spent, exhausted
But the melody was beautiful
So haunting
I hadn't had enough
I wanted more
So i strung it up again
And tuned it
For the next round

@jacelyn this is so entrancing.. i was listening music but while reading it all the lyrics to my song faded away and i swear i thought i was listening to the sound of a lady's voice singing the melodies to my hearing. beautiful ma'am.. very gorgeous you too
