I'm Loving This Oatmeal
27 July 2025

I remember when I was working abroad, oatmeal was my favorite breakfast. I stopped eating it ever since I got back home. I'm not sure why. Probably because I don't feel like eating the kind I'd see in the supermarket.
So when I saw these oats online, they looked enticing, similar to what I used to eat in Hong Kong. Back then, I'd mix oatmeal with nuts I always bought from PrizeMart and Japan Homes. I like nuts of any kind, except peanuts. I do like peanut butter, though. And I like nuts even more when they're mixed with oatmeal.

There were three kinds, so I ordered two cans, one for myself and one for my mother, since she loves oatmeal too. Like her, I've been getting more conscious about my sugar intake since I'm not getting any younger.

These oats come mixed with nuts and fruits, like almonds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, coconut flakes, kiwi, red dates, raisins, and corn cereals. They're baked, so I can eat them straight, without adding milk or hot water.

I love the purple can. It contains frozen yogurt, and since I'm a fan of yogurt, I used to add it to my oatmeal all the time.

I also saw this avocado oatmeal drink with chia seeds and moringa, so I bought some to add extra flavor to my oatmeal. The combination of the two is delicious.

After buying them, though, I realized something. These may look healthy, but since they're processed, I probably won't get 100% of the nutrients I would from plain oats with fresh fruits and nuts. That got me thinking about what I want to try in the following days.
Still, I can't deny the oats look enticing, don't they? If you want to try them yourself, they're available on the black app. You may check here and here.
Thanks for your time.

They really good madam, I am not a fan of oatmeal especially the texture but I think I will like this. But this also looks mahal 🫠. My broke ass cannot afford that, surely. Lol. But I think the oldies would love this. Should I recommend 🤔
Hindi sya mahal madam, affordable lang . Carry mo yan, bilhan mo mother mo hehe..
Masarap ang oatmeal kapag niluluto sa gatas .. basta yung rolled oats, hindi yung instant
Naririnig ko yong rolled oats madam pero diko knows difference sa instant haha. Search ko nga yan
The one in the purple can looks similar to what my mother used to have before. I liked it a lot, but it makes my stomach gassy kaya hininto ko na :)
Yes it looks tempting. Parang ganahan Ka kumain. Kaya Lang Yung tatay KO ayaw nya Ng niluluto pa. Gusto instant na😬
When it comes to Oatmeal I never touch the pre-packaged hyper-sweetened just add hot water and serve type. It's large rolled oats kind of traditional oatmeal cooked for some time; add a tablespoon of raw sugar, cinnamon, then add some walnuts and powdered flax when almost done, and maybe a little dab of butter. MY kids prefer some milk in it.

I love that, too.. the whole oats or rolled oats cooked with milk ☺️
Be careful. Too much carbs is not good.
