Don't let your mind run through all the things you still want to do today or until the weekend!
Rather make a mental note of everything that went right today and yesterday and the day before.
Did you get to have a cup of coffee this morning?
Were you able to kiss your kids goodbye and send them off to school? Did someone smile at you or give you a compliment?
Maybe you, like me, have bigger things to be grateful for this week? My daughter passed her drivers license!!! I'm super grateful about that.
We need to live on purpose, be greatful on purpose and have joy on purpose!

Well it's a toss up between beer and coffee... but either way we should all take a moment every now and then and be grateful.

I will have the beer!! In the army we used to call Wednesday small Saturday due to the sportpass we got n the afternoons from 12:00 onwards!!

I wish I'd read this yesterday @janique. I need to be reminded of these things. We were looking after the grandkids but i was distracted because we were having problems with the internet and ended up going back and forth with the computer.
I was very disappointed with myself when I went to bed. That time with the grandkids won't come again and I wasn't really present for them.
I have made a mental note never to do that again.

Thankfully. It's not something I normally do which is why it was so noticeable yesterday I think.
Normally, I get the computer stuff out of the way so I can focus on the kids but the internet issues meant I'm kept coming back to the screen. If it happens again I'll make myself turn the thing off! 😊
