You wanted the darkness, I killed the flames !!

It was April, The sound of the wind was going through my ears. After an entire day of heat and humidity, it was about to dawn and the air is turning into a cool breeze. The bench on which I was sitting was an old concrete bench and the name of the donator was engraved on that bench. What was special on that day? ….I was alone.

A wise man said once ” Everyone will not remember how good you were, everybody will not let you forget how bad you were”. 

After all this time when you find yourself isolated, your mind create doubts about your existence, your thought process constantly running the same scenario again and again in  your head and tries to find the fault but human nature is freaky and sometimes you are not at fault but the other person is at fault and that other person is clever enough to make you feel guilty about his or her fault. 

I tried to sum up those feelings into these lines…..

Remeber those days when you were willing to walk with me 

when you crave for my presence and purposely make a nuisance 

when you try to catch my attention  and play silly games 

Look at you now, you blacklisted my number, blocked my names

you tell people, my existence is a rumor, my memory inflict pain?

you wanted the darkness, I killed the flames!

Whenever  you were in doubt, I was your solutions,

whenever you were not in doubt, you deliberately create one,

 you loved to see me working on your equations,

Look at you now, you tell people that I should be forgotten 

you wanted the darkness, I killed the flames!

I purposely choose those places to see you at a workstation,

my eyes look for your presence, every road each junction,

I always craved for your fragrance and the way you greeted me,

Look at you now, You tell people that I play games 

You wanted the darkness, I killed the flames !!
