Sakae-ya Milkhall

Finished foto.jpg

My series of illustrations of Tokyo storefronts is inspired by the wonderful works of the illustrator Mateusz Urbanowicz. I recommend you to go and check him out and follow him on his social media accounts. It's a pleasure to admire his pieces.

Sakae-ya Milkhall, built in the '20s and '30s, used to be a café where people would go and drink milk, to “help them strengthen the Japanese psyche” Now it is a restaurant, located in Chiyoda-ku,

The materials I used are watercolors, alcohol-based markers, fineliners, a white gel pen, and masking white fluid.
Canson paper 120 g, A5.
Scanned at 300 dpi on HP envy.
Digitally inked and lined on Procreate on iPad 8th Gen.

Papel Canson 120 g, A5.
Escaneado a 300 dpi en HP envy.
Delineado y retocado digitalmente en Procreate en iPad 8va. Generación.
