Leaf Pegagan , Scientific name: Centella asiatica
Chemical content of leaf pegagan is known among these saponins, asiaticoside, thankunside, isothankunside, madecassoide, brahmoside, brahmic acid, madasiatic acid, meso-inosetol, centellose, carotenoids, salt, potassium, sodium, calcium, iron, vallarine, tatin, micilago, resin, pectin, sugar, and B vitamins.
Pharmacological Effects
Pegagan leaves are sweet, cool, anti-infectious, antibiotic, anti toxic heat, set the water art, anti leprosy, anti viral, accelerate wound healing, strengthening the structure of the tissues of the body, as well as brain tonic or medicine antilupa for adults and seniors.
