Waiting Can be Exhausting

574.png

Sometimes I appreciate how slowly life unfolds. When something takes time, I tend to value it more. I know I'll cherish it when it finally arrives because I understand the cost of waiting.

But if I'm honest, there are days when I'm simply fed up. Waiting can be exhausting. Progress can feel invisible. I wonder if anything is changing at all.

Then I remind myself that not all growth announces itself. Some of the most important work happens quietly, beneath the surface, long before anyone can see it, including me.

"He has made everything beautiful in its time."
Ecclesiastes 3:11

That verse never promised me that waiting would always be beautiful. It promised that God's timing would be.

So today, I choose to hold two truths at once. I am grateful for what this season is teaching me, and I am tired of waiting. Those two realities do not compete with each other.

They simply remind me that I am still learning to trust the One who sees the finished picture while I am still living through the process.
