Subaru continuation...

So today I had a very strange finding while at the DMV. I had vanity plates on my WRX that was totaled in the accident a few weeks ago. My thought was with the Outback to just get regular plates for it.
The woman behind the counter said they don't do refunds on the amount paid on the plates before, but could see what the price for replacement plates would be for me. The total was $14.35... new plates would have been over$50 for just standard plates!
Even she was dumbfounded... but she was so sweet to help save me some of my hard earned cash!
