Introducing Myself :)

Hello everyone! My name is Jillian Eckert. I'm a student at Oklahoma State University who is trying to expand my horizons by exploring Hive as a part of an entrepreneurship class project. I'm an English major, and I hope to share my short stories, poetry, and other forms of writing on this platform.
I am an avid reader, hence majoring in English, and I'm also passionate about music. I play the trumpet and piano, and I'd love to explore songwriting as well! I adore artists like Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers, and Fiona Apple. As far as literature goes, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is one of my favorites. I also adore Romantic Era poetry (I'm a huge John Keats fan). In summary, I am a literature nerd hoping to blend that passion with Hive.
I also have two dogs, Penny and Toby, whom I love with my entire heart!

I also like to fancy myself a photographer sometimes, despite only using my IPhone camera and ultimately being mediocre at best. Here's a photo of my beautiful college campus in the fall!
I look forward to exploring Hive as a platform for creative content, and I hope you will follow me on my journey. :)
