Steem for Soundcloud and other streaming platforms?

As a music artist, I see so much potential for this platform to reshape the music industry and how artists are paid for there content.

Are there any announcements about this? Has the idea been thrown around? If so does anyone have any links?

Love to hear the communities thoughts on the possibilities?
