Winter Yoga Fish Pose

I love the heart opening that happens during Fish Pose. Here I am supported by my #kurma yoga wheel. It is beautiful to feel supported in this life, and the wheel makes this pose so accessible to my body. I also love being outdoors, no matter the weather, and practicing yoga in the winter is a lovely experience.

My senses are so invoked by the scent of cedar and pine, the air is crisp, and the bird sounds surround me as I practice without the need for music. Instead the forest offers a symphony of sounds that are so soothing.

Just like John Burroughs so aptly noted "I got to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in order.".
