I had this run-in with Officer Vergara in the Riverwinds section of West Deptford one September night early in the morning. My son just got a new job and I work nights. We found some time to spend together and enjoy a nice ride on our electric skateboards. As we were riding down the street he shows up and claims we were at the park to get our IDs. I lost the court case because the Judge said he believed we had intended to be in the park regardless if we were in it yet or not. We couldn't play the bodycam footage or anything like that. I thought it would be easy yo prove I wasn't in the park. It wasn't because its a sham. This is their honey hole. I'm not the first one to be caught in their trap.
