ELDERLY CITIZENS
So today's reflection of life, will take a different turn down to the corner of elderly citizens. Let's do it together as usual.
I love observing elderly people. There is something about old age that is just beautiful to behold, especially in cases where the person aged well.
Elderly people are measured; they are careful. Many young people mistake their temperance for timidity. I have also made that mistake before. For them, it is pattern recognition. What you are seeing for the first time, they have seen the likes of before, so they act from experience.

We, young people, too, are interesting. We can be so confident and loud, and sometimes, I have seen people say things in a way that I am sure age will eventually take that method from them. It is only a matter of “when.”
There is something about time that is humbling. With time, your frailties are no longer what you are being told. You have seen them yourself. If you are honest with yourself enough, you will learn to be patient with others.
The confidence with which you judge others, critique people, judge intentions that you know nothing about, if you have the opportunity to age well, you will become measured and careful, because by then, you would have learnt that life is to be lived with care.

Experience is such a beautiful word and phenomenon. We all learn from this same thing; and we all judge them the same way everyone has. But they - the elders - are loveable, way more than the youth. Because, youth is still finding and learning its way throug. Youth can give you lots of welcoming and kind things, but that will be from someone else's perspective. Then, there is elderly folks, they will have their own stories, mostly experiences, to share with you. Why? Because, the elderly have watched similar stories happening countless times, so they know that not every battle deserves to be fought and not every opportunity is worth chasing.
