STEEM is going the MOON
HF19 has just completely changed the game. I have never had so much fun on Steemit as I did in the past two hours commenting and upvoting the crap out of everything. And then I realized: I have to get more STEEM.
You know what that means? Yeah.
We are going to see an unprecedented number of posts and comments. People are going to tell their friends. Friends are going to sign up and tell more friends.
A few thousand STEEM can now provide a living income, through simple commenting and curating, to most of the world's population.
And if you have a writing bone in your body you can grow meaningful wealth with a laptop and internet connection.
And then... people are going to realize, hey, I can buy 1000 more STEEM for $500 and pay that off in a month by curating. And then speculators are going to realize people want STEEM because it is an income producing asset and they are going to buy STEEM because everyone else wants STEEM.
And then... the price of STEEM skyrockets and rewards skyrocket and people tell their friends and...

I like the way you think! I'm starting to think I need to just double down on Steem and stop reading about ETH, ICO's, Dash, BTC, Etc.
I am now divesting all of my ETH and substantial portion of BTC for STEEM. When the word gets out this thing is going to blow.

I think, now the playing field is level, that, plus the incredible price action, we are gonna start getting a lot more busy in here... and the need to solve the scaling issues that will become acute in about 3 years with the all-in-one chain.
But the number of 'success stories' steem can show now... I just got myself back to the modern day after 4 years stuck in the 80s of technology, I have a living space, and I am making enough money from my mining and steeming that I am having this unfortunate luxury of lots of time to scheme :)

So they are dumping now, are they??? I feel very lucky. I'm with Steemit for the long haul and I couldn't be happier with the changes.
Yes, I had forgotten to mention that. That's the best part. I can express myself freely and no one person can sensor me. This is an interesting time in all history.
I think it is a nodal point in the near future events. Blockchain transitions into realtime, even millisecond precise, massively distributed, massively resilient peer to peer data, query and computation services that make a little money for everyone, because of how much of a benefit it is to have such a network existing. Steem is just the sparkly point at the tip of the iceberg, and it just broke off from deep under the sea :)

Yep, good times ahead. As long as more newcomers are getting into the platform and keep buying up all the STEEM released by people taking out to pay the rent :)
Yes, that is going to be an interesting dynamic. At some point people will saturate in Steem Power, have enough to make a decent living and start siphoning off their monthly living costs. But... there are billions people on Facebook/Reddit/Youtube/Wordpress etc. and if Steemit sucks in a decent percentage of those users it will be a very, very long time before Steem Power saturates. And at that point STEEM will likely be worth hundreds or thousands of dollars and everyone here today will be insanely wealthy.

Ha ha... Right, Hardfork 19 has really boosted up the community. Even I was very happy as payouts increased automatically without doing anything. It will create ripple effect as you have described, bringing more people on board and sky rocketing price of STEEM! 👍
It is fantastic! I think it is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to make extra cash. I live in Michigan, but can you imagine a guy in some of these less fortunate countries. I'm talking about places where the wages are maybe $100 a WEEK or less. They are really going to be signing up like crazy! I don't know if you are old enough to remember the old Faberge commercials from back in the day where a lady tells 2 friends and they each tell two friends...I think that is what we are going to see!!!! I love your enthusiasm. My wife and I are going to try to steemit together. We don't expect much we just thought it would be something fun to do as a couple. Plus it gives us a more interesting platform to get our "creative juices flowing". Onward and upward!

Definitely a possibility @johnsmith - I think it's important that Steem has the ability to produce LONG TERM. That's the only way it can challenge fbibook.
It's all beneficial to everything. Steem investment, Steemnit earnings etc.

I guess were still in the early adoption of steem and cryptocurrenzy itself. There will be a lot potential for future. I was really happy to bought in higher two days before, buying steem for under 1,5 Euro.
I'm not sure about the short changing of steem, but for the longterm, let's say 10 months, i predict some price about 10 euro. I guess if this plattform reachs a bunch of people and we take the million, then the ten million, there will be a huge increase.

Thanks for the inspiration! That is driven by logic reasoning and i came to a similar conclusion. I already told friends and colleagues about that or recommended Steemit to give it a chance.. and the good thing was absolutely not for selfish reasons.. just because i'm convinced of the platform and saw the opportunity for the person.
example:
I had a conversation with someone who do often travels and is also a talented photographer. Additionally he is doing some great woodworks and an idea sparked in me that he can do some "How to" documentation of his works and also the impressive photography he made on his journey.. because someone would love to see that and eventually pay for. Steemit collects more and more nuggets of information and builds a huge database with many quality posts and also fulfills a social function beside the monetary incentive that should attract more and more people.

Sounds great your ideea but you are missing one esential point... the circulated supply which works a little bit different in Steem case as every vote that we give or receive generates more Steem so taking this in consideration i dont think that Steem will ever get over 2.50 usd. Dont get me wrong i love this platform and i hope that Steem price will go one day all the way to the moon but we have to be realistic as well. So the way things are going we should be happy with the nr. that i mention.
Honest to be it doesnt even matter as the most important thing here is to have fun.

In the entire steemit ...i was searching about the steem forercast and price projection time and again and finally i got stopped by such an article which gives me sense of pleasure, i like this post much, because i am rigorously working to generate steem in my wallet, and any positive news and forecast about steem gives a smile.

Do I get this right? I have to charge my STEEM wallet and click around on steemit and will get more money for everything I do here? How much STEEM do I need?
Oh yeah shouldn't be like once in a blue moon! Steem is okay against the USD but against the bit coin kinda on the looser end , look forward to be one of the top ten pretty soon!
