Longexposurephotography: lightning

My photo for the daily photocontest

@juliank organizes each day a photocontest. The topic of tody is #longexposurephotography.

I took this lightning photo in summer. Although the lightning is very short you have to take a longexposurephotogarphy because you, can't release the shutter as fast as the flash is. So you just release the shutter and hope, that there will be a flash in the next seconds. I took this photo out of the attic window. > Dieses Gewitterfoto habe ich im Sommer gemacht. Auch wenn, oder gerade weil, der Blitz nur sehr kurz ist, muss man eine Langzeitbelichtung machen, auch wenn es ersteinmal wiedersprüchlich klingt. Wenn man den Auslöser erst drückt, wenn man den Blitz sieht, dann ist er schonwieder vorbei. Deshalb macht man eine Lanzeitbelichtung, hier z.B 5 Sekunden und muss dann hoffen, dass es in dieser Zeit blitzt.
