It's crowded at the bottom

I have asked people for help, alliance or assistance a lot this year, more than I've ever done with in the last 9 years.
This year alone, I've been trying to build systems, partnerships and all, but in reality I've been met with a lot more rejection, and for I've also had to pay some money for some too, but they've ended up in 100% failures.
Asking for help is something I'm not strange to, and most times when I ask I try to ask only 2 or 3 people, who I know are always very comfortable with helping, extended this beyond these people is something I hardly do.
In the past, I've built partnerships with people, and they've yielded a lot of results and sometimes I take this confidence with me when asking people for business alliances.
However life's gotten really messy that I've had no option but to ask people I may not really know as much for help, and expecting to universe to magically expect them to oblige. It's been a tough year, and getting robbed was definitely the reason why I'm here.
I never expected to be robbed of a lot of money, the desperation of trying to make up for all that loss has driven me into survival mode and here we are again.
Spending over 8 years in self preservation without having a lot of friends or connections to the real world may have affected me a lot, but this is largely because I don't like bothering people and having experienced a lot of rejections my whole life, and these will normally drive a person to their own shell.
This isn't to say I blame people for rejection.
It's what it is...
I actually blame my position for needing help, even though I prepared myself to not need any help. But as they say, we cannot be too careful in life, and certainly we cannot be careful enough.
There are uncertainties in life we cannot predict, and the best of people in life can be victims, but I've discovered that being at the tail end of the spectrum, needing help and asking people for it can be damning.
On the other hand, life's about connections, it only feels crazy when you're connected to the wrong people. The right people brings the right connection, the right connections opens a lot of doors.
Life has a lot of circles of powerful people with powerful information and all that, and sometimes you need to sell your soul to have access to this information.
However, regular people have actually found it very difficult to form alliances and I think this is because life gets tough, and no one wants to give up their comfort zone or spread too thin, but I've honestly seen people, circles, business and establishment and there's honestly nothing as powerful as the right connections.
Connections are being formed at the top, but at the bottom the disparity is quite high. I also consider myself to be at the bottom of the spectrum, and it's difficult and crowdy at the top. It's lonely at the top because a lot of people are not getting to the top.
The people at the bottom are not making themselves tools for each others right to scale, and this is honestly not our fault, it's just life.
Sometimes I also think it's because the people at the bottom do not understand how powerful it can be, and everyone just wants to survive and just be whatever they want to be.
Somehow, I think I'll just go back to not asking for connections, assistance and help anymore, perhaps I'll just keep hoping I'll meet the right people someday, and it doesn't have to feel weird or awkward, but it's what it is, and I'll just keep going.

Life isn't easy, and connections are something that come with time. I do think that money matters a lot when it comes to that, though, when you want to earn money. Let's just hope the future is better, and I think times are just rough right now. A lot of people I know who would normally help probably wouldn't in the current economy.
Yeah, I agree, however I've mostly talking about help that has to do with connecting with like-minds to build ventures that can be very profitable, I think. But I understand that a lot of people are dealing with their own stuff, it's tough at the bottom of the ladder
One of the lessons I have learnt is 'never show your weakness's
People hardly help someone that is falling because they feel they won't gain from him, they believe he won't rise again, they don't want to see him rise again or they just don't want to get involved with someone going down...
But when you are good and things are going well for you, you will see opportunities that you didn't have seek or work hard for, the partnership you needed will come easy... That is just how life is and I understand why some people fake it to make it...
Yes, this is why people fake it as you've said. I've just realized that it's currently this way because I've been struggling financially, I actually didn't think about it until you mentioned it, and it's honestly the most bitter truth.
But, I'll keep pushing buttons and hoping something works out, giving up is not an option
