If you want your experience in business and life in general to be an outstanding and a purposeful one then you must be mindful of the following,

If you stay or roll with 5 poor people or mediocre you may surely be the 6th one.

Likewise if you hang around 5 Well to Do & wise People you may surely be the 6th one.

There are many forms of poverty that keep people poor.

Being poor or broke or being born poor is not the problem , the real problem is remaining poor or dying or leave the world as a poor person.

Here are 7 Mindsets that can keep you poor

1. Poor in Spirit

Some people are pessimistic & they think defeat, act defeated and walk around defeated. They have given up hopes & aspirations on life and their dreams ,they will tell you why bother ‍trying .

They tell you it is Impossible, it cannot be done.

I tried that before , just because they cannot do something they are selling to you that you cannot do it either.

Be careful who you listen to, this kinds of people can be in form of friends , business competitors, colleagues or even family members.

This kind of people are poor in spirit.

2 Poor in Loving yourself or others

Some people don't love themselves.
Maybe growing up you didn't get love from your parents, siblings, teachers, childhood friends, you may have grown up in an hostile environment.

Some people have gone through several break ups or had heart breaks from several Relationships with a boyfriend or girlfriend or even Spouse Experiencing a divorce.

Hence they don't want to love anymore they are hurt and sad.

People who are hurt will likely give pain to others.

Some of this people don't smile again , they find it difficult to build relationships with others including business partners and employees. They find it difficult to love other people.

You cannot love others if you don't love yourself.

Love thy neighbour like thyself.

1. Poor in Wisdom

There are kinds of people in this category.

They are people who are dumb.

They are people who know they are dumb.

They are people who are dumb but think they are wise or smart.

They are people who are smart but they prefer to play dumb.

You want to play the fourth category.

Wisdom does not mean knowledge, first class , distinction or 2.1 in school or being academic smart.

Wisdom does not equal knowledge or Intelligence.

As human you are supposed to be growing over time. You have to keep improving in that business & life in general. Do not mistake complacency for contentment. It is dangerous and has a boomerang effect not just in business but on every area of one's life.

Knowledge is knowing what you can do, Wisdom is knowing when Not to Do it.

1. Poor in Character

People who are poor in character can lie , they steal. They lack integrity, they promise to do something and they don't do it. They can even make others to loose goodwill and credibility due to their own greed.

You cannot count on this set of people, you cannot trust them, you cannot rely on them. They say A and they do Z.

1. Poor in Habits

These set of people are LAZY. They procrastinate, they tell you I will do it tomorrow and tomorrow becomes Next month or Next Year.

They value comfort instead of freedom and success. They don't like to be taught/mentored or shown the way. They detest accountability.

They accumulate bad habits that affect their health also, excessive drinking and smoking with extreme social life.

Naturally you are a product of your environment, you cannot help but be influenced by people around you. Successful People have better and great habits.

As an entrepreneur, You may want to avoid this people in business and life in general

1. Poor in Attitude

A poor Attitude is like that of a flat tyre , a car with flat tyres cannot move forward , likewise people with poor Attitude.

It is a negative Attitude, this set of people drain energy from people. They think negative , talk negative and look negative in physical appearance and body posture.

1. Poor in Finance

This Set of People they don't like money , they don't want to talk about money. They don't want to maximise their purpose and goals. They are too complacent. They don't want to PUSH.
They are too lazy to learn and network with others. They love their comfort zone so much.
They don't want to go the extra mile which is never crowded.
They are not ready to think outside the box but they only embrace status quo.
They hardly invest in books that will enhance their chances of success in business & life.

They don't know anything about money, they don't know how to make money and they are not willing to know.

They are not interested in any business discussions & topics such as : Strategy, Negotiation, Marketing, Networking, Partnership, Joint Venture, Webinar, Seminar, Training, Coaching, Mentorship, Product-Architecture, Dropshipping, Pricing, Tax, Govt Policies, Equity, Grant, Loan, Business Registration etc

They say things like sales is not my thing.

I hate Marketing , I am not a marketer.

I don't like to network or meet with people.

I don't like talking.

I don't go out.

I prefer to stay indoors every time.

They don't know how to save money, they don't know how to invest money.

They are not ready to take any risk.

They don't know how to create more money & they are not thinking about the future.

They don't have long term plans & goals.

And they end up with No Money.

They find it difficult to maximize their purpose in life and they make no impact in others or their environment
