Your Words Mean Everything

St. Matthew 12:36-37(ESV) I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.

The scriptures above were powerful words said by our Lord Jesus Christ telling us the importance of our words. The gift of words is God's greatest gift to mankind. The inner you is revealed when you speak. Your words mean everything and Sadly many people don't know this, and may be the cause of the defeated lives they live here on earth. The simple formua is, "Your life goes in the direction your mouth goes". So the question is "What have you been saying?".
We need to know that everything God gave us is activated through our words even our very salvation depends on your words. Whether you live a victorious life or otherwise depends on your words. The lord gave you the ability to speak, to use your mouth to chart your course aright in life. You need to conciously pratice TALKING RIGHT.

Talking right means valuing what you say; learning to keep promises; and talking God's word. Your words must mean something, have integrity and powerful. It simply means you say what you mean,and mean what you say. Don't speak vague, unproductive, meaningless words; knowing that according to our opening scripture, God holds you accountable for every word you say because God don't make careless statements.
We must understand that Jesus is seen today through our character, which is often expressed through our words. Interestingly, God's word in our hearts help us talk right (Matthew 12:34), so make a concious effort to pratice talking right today, and watch your life go from one level of glory to another. This is the higher life!! Hallelujah.
