Actual product for the average lambda person !

I have been inspired by a recentmeetup about Decentralized Web technologies , which itself was inspired from the Decentralized Web Summit in San-Francisco.

Since the arrival of the bitcoin, altcoins, colored coin and then smart contracts, in the tech sector, people got aware of the technology underlying all this fuss. The Blockchain. Then it became blockchain here blockchain there. Some would blockchainify anything , without any real use or real issue solved there.
I am fully about transparency, about reducing the factors for human corruption and making the world an open place. Same for the web. Thougth I longed to see real actual uses cases, producst, getting out.
To explain myself. As I was explained by Francis Pouliot, from the Bitcoin Foundation, we could say that there is three layer in the blockchain universe.
The Plumbing part.
All the crypto, the hard code mechanics of the blockchains. Theses are the scientist, the very core Bitcoin protocol developper or a Vitalic from Ethreum.
The Developpers part
All the awesome framework, like Colu, and BitAssets that are built for developper. They can be integrated, leveraged and biult on top of, but they are not quite a end-user product yet…
What is missing ?
The End-Product part
Theses are the actual product that the average person will use in everyday’s life. These person do not really need to understand or even really know about the blockchain itself. They just need an awesome product and will be charmed by real transparencies benefit like trust, open data instant audits and suchs.
I have see the hype go up in the industry, and have heard of many cool tech, gadgets, philosophiccal and social stuff but it is like the blockchain related communities love it for itself. I really think that this awesome development in the economical and technological paradigm worth way more than that.
It will need real everyday’s life case that everyone use and then its going to be what it was annouced.
This is why i decided to make a few blog post about decentralized web end product that i find useful. I will try them and put my comments on what i find good and not. I encourage anyone to do the same in the decentralized web tag !

Looking forward to your IPFS post.
It's still early days for all this blockchain technology and we still have a long way to go before we've really explored the possibilities. Whoever can make it stupid easy for the average person (SteemIt is a good example) will likely benefit greatly.
I completly agree about this assertion. In a way the blockchain technology is going througth a transformation phase. It is waking up from a dream and start making it happening in the real average person world. In parrallel, the big instititutions, banks, insurances firms, accountants frims and all sort of financial services and fintech bussiness are jumping into it. They finally got, who knows how, maybe from their shareholsers, that they must move on this because smart people are getting very quickly to the third stage, the product stage,
It is at this level that the technology becomes a threat for them . When it , simply put, replace them. But we must still stay aware that blockchain can be made private. They then become as transparent as any other secure database, and they can be controlled. (meaning they can control issuance and dewstrustion of digital assets). They still would benefit of instantaneous audit, increased access secutiry, alomst incorruptible internal infrastructure but still control this market totallly.
This is why i agree to your assertion, the blockchain is very young is in stead of its many-time predicted death it holds. It is now via smart contracts and colored coins, side chains and shapeshifting going toward a very interesting direction.
