I remember the first time I wanted to start blogging was on tumblr, I think I’ve failed with tumblr because tumblr(just like instagram) are mostly visual platforms, meaning that, the prettier you look in your pictures the more popular they will be. Honestly I think is tiring to be taking pictures of yourself all the time with the pressure for them to be perfect and for you to look good in order to gain followers and likes.
I understand that this gives you a sense of good self esteem, however, it just feeds something that I don’t find very positive: being superficial.
Through this platform I want to let my true self shine without creating any physical stereotypes.
