Monkeyin' Around - Prosthetic Makeup Application
Now that I have entered the world of Steemit as a new member, I wanted to share more about what I do as a Prosthetic Makeup Artist. This photo series shows a little bit of the painting and application process. The prosthetic piece I am using was sculpted by another artist and run in a foam latex material. As for the Hair, the wig is lace front as well as the facial hair. I have also applied scolarial contacts to give him more of an animalistic color to his pupils and dull the whites of the eyes. I really enjoyed applying this makeup on my ever so patient partner. he had a little fun with it too ;)

Thanks @jfolkmann , i have a few friends who did face off and they said it was a crazy experience! In the last few years a lot of the new films that have come out made a point a point to have practical makeup as opposed to CGI which is always good to see!
I always think it looks better....there's still an uncanny valley aspect to CG work. Anyhow - looking forward to seeing more of your work!
