In Saudi Arabia this year Valentine's Day or World Love Day is celebrated this year. Even though the ban on keeping the love day in Saudi Arabia is prohibited, the law is a lot more relaxed now. A Saudi Arab scholar said that Love Day is not something haram. This is another example of how the air of change is going on in Saudi Arabia this year.
As part of the reforms initiated by the Prince of Saudi Arabia, the 'religious police' (julya) power is reduced. Now the police will not be able to arrest citizens directly for religious acts.

There is no relationship or conflict with religion. Valentines Day is a social issue, people can celebrate it; It is not something forbidden.
