Ofcourse the sound matters a lot!! the sound engineer needs to be so good!!
It really matters how you are hearing yourself on stage. i personally love IN EARS now as its just so sorted and less noisy plus I have my favourite in earphones so it just sits well and sounds awesome! This video clip has the sound of a GOPRO, and not the audio recorded at the DAW.
