No amount of army, police, civil defense, S.A.R.S and vigilantes can stop crime and cultism in Nigeria. Armed forces can't create peace. Only industrialization and economic development can eliminate crime.

Austria is highly industrialized and has gotten relatively low unemployment rates, yet job seekers and those that are unemployed get 800 euro month as unemployment benefits, not just to feed them and ensure that they remain solvent consumers that have a purchasing power. But to ensure that idleness paired with youthful exuberance does not lead to dangerous thoughts that might find manifestation in violent crime, and cultism.
If Nigeria really want to curb cultism, drug abuse and other deviant behaviors,
Then she should better kick off industrialization.
