May The Force Be With You

Welcome to May Steemians. As we progress in quarter 2 of 2018, many developments will begin to come out within the next few weeks. Some of those will be good, and then there are events like next Monday's SEC hearing on whether or not Ethereum will be considered a security which can be bad but could be good if it goes well. There will also be several events throughout the month of May in New York City for Blockchain Week. I expect a lot of releases and updates to be announced. I expect alts to perform well in May as they did in April. I have positioned myself heavier in alts relative to bitcoin as I expect alts will continue to outperform bitcoin. That being said I can also see bitcoin volatility in the near future and a run in either direction, most likely up, will cause alts to take a hit. For that I like to keep a btc hedge in play to balance out the beating on alts if/when that happens. Now if that SEC meeting goes south for any reason it could cause a big sell off presenting a final buy opportunity before "Blockchain Week".
