Why Can't We Just Delete a Duplicate Post ?
Lately there has been some posts that have been duplicated because of a transaction error or type error messages that appear when posting. This has happened few times to myself where the same post has submitted 3 times because of an error msg so I obviously I think that the post has not submitted and when you check your blog usually it hasn't. So re-submitting the post is frustrating.
Would it not be easier to have an option to delete a post that has been duplicated and has no votes or comments before. You keep the one that was first submitted and delete the rest.
I personally delete all my txt from a duplicate post and leave an explanation but It doesn't stop upvotes and comments.
I do find this only happens when steemit has been experiencing problems or DDoS. But my last post got that type error transaction but I checked my blog and it was submitted, however the time it said I posted was 52 minutes ago when in fact it was probably 52 seconds.
Anyone experience similar problems?

Hi @waresh This is something that should be addressed as users can be flagged for duplicates which is not fair if it was not the users intentions. Obviously posting duplicates on purpose is different.
yes @keviginge i agree with you . i wanna discuss with you something els . last day i had a power 34 power but today morning it come down 20 but now 21 . i did not any copypost , then why this happen with me ???
It has something to do with records on the Blockchain. Of course, you can delete a comment, so it would seem that you should be able to delete a post. There are people who have been able to delete posts, but I'm not sure if that was a fluke or not.
sounds as if you may have had your post flagged or downvoted. Look at your last post to check.
Yes I checked your votes and @blacklist & @steemcleaners have downvoted you a few times some are $1 downvote this affects your reputation number. Usually this is done if you copy from internet and post it without giving credit to original author or it could be comments if you have copied and pasted other comments. I looked at your posts but They seem ok other than 1 comment from cheetah who is a bot who will let you know they have found similar content on internet. Have a look through your posts and comments

I just 4-posted a blog post by accident, because I kept getting an error message that made me think it wasn't actually posting. Weirdly, I was able to delete one of the four, but the others don't even offer the option.
I had the exact same situation and it's annoying. I posted the same post 4 times accidentally due to hitting post over and over again because I got the transaction error message and was only able to delete the one that didn't have any up votes. The others are still there annoying me. :)
Just had the same issue. Any fix suggestion's folks? Would appreciate it :)
