Staking Ethereum 2.0
This is a short (6 mins) introduction video to staking ethereum. I talking about staking yourself and compare it to staking via an exchange specifically Binance.
I look at the pros and cons and give the viewer a beginners walk through on how to stake via Binance.
Some of the pros,
It is more accessible to people as you don't need to stake 32 eth ~ $55,000.
The interesting dynamics that arise from having a token, BETH, tracking the stake. And point out a simple way to make 1-7% extra when staking.
Cons,
Main assets locked for, maybe, 2 years
Experimental contract, so assets may be loss
Using a third party to hold your coins
In the past I have done other vids looking at different forms of passive income in the crypto world, so check out my channel for more. There's lots on Binance lately partially because they have some interesting saving options and partially because that's what got me a bit of traction.
