I'm always perplexed at such titles parading paygap differences. Even though I know mega broadcasters like the BBC also have to use evasive marketing techniques to attract eyeballs just like the small town individual markers, I still secretly hope they would be slightly act more responsibly in their media.
Paygaps come with hidden attributes, or elements to consider when drawing up a comparison chart for viewers. I mean it would be insane for me to compare myself with Jennifer Anniston and then complain saying there's a massive paygap that needs addressing. The insanity becomes clear once someone reads about my lack of acting abilities or acting perceived value according to employers.
It's like a stay at home husband expecting his working wife to return home and cook or clean their home because he had to take the kids to school. Eg So the husband would complain saying the role reversal isn't fair, the house work distribution is disproportionate and needs to be 50/50 with his wife.
