Reassurance during failure is not replacement for praise during success.

"Good try,it will get better" is not interchangeable with "Nice work, what an amazing job you did." Good tries help keep discouragement at bay but they never fill an empty belly like the pride that comes naturally with "Nice job, keep up the good work!"
